A LOT of parts in this sheet revolve around the term Twilight, his use of both light and dark. Forgive me for that. The concept of him having light and dark forms was inspired by the game "Jak 3" for the PS2

Personality: Usually laid back and a nice guy. But when someone threatens the safety of others, he is usually the first to stand up for the victim, acting purely on impulse. When his body is fueled by the light, he is in a state of serenity in battle. However, when overcome by darkness, he becomes ruthless, fighting anything that gets in his way.
Race: Human
Strengths: Mostly specializes with physical attacks, he uses the light and dark powers he gained as a child to his advantage.
Weakness: Sometimes being the first to step in when trouble arises has caused Arin to get into tough situations in the past, and sometimes still happens. He has zero experience in other skills except for his natural control of his light and dark powers. Although he has a decent hold on keeping his powers balanced at a constant level, that balance can become unstable. On occasion, if driven to the urge of kill or protect, the balance between light and dark wavers until one eventually takes over. Each one giving him a different personality, and unique ability related to that powers traits.
Background: Arin grew up as an orphan in a random town in the middle of a large city in Pennsylvania, with nothing to claim as his own but a note with strange markings written on it that resembled letters. The "letters", when put together, became his name, whether it really was or not is a different story all on its own.

Some time during his early childhood, Arin discovered that he had the innate ability to control the essence of light and darkness around him by an unknown force. After several years of practice, he was able to develop this power, being able to control them at will. However, there have been incidents where he is unable to control the darkness within him, and it takes over fully. This 'unnatural' phenomenon resulted in him being transfered to multiple orphanages, finally landing himself in Washington DC as his final destination, before his "adoption".

A white haired woman, looking to be barely in her mid twenties, showed up at the orphanages doorstep, looking for a unique child to take with her to raise as her own. When the children were introduced to her, she took a particular interest in Arin, despite the warnings from the head of the orphanage. Papers were signed, and it was official that Arin had a new family, if only one person.

As he grew older, his control over his dark side grew, thanks to the training that the woman, who called herself Aria, had put him through. Once he had come of age, She had given him her home, and took residence in her bookstore not too far away.

Halfway into his nineteenth year of his life, he was surrounded by a group of thugs in an alley looking for a victim to mug. It was there that he met a hooded young woman who could control a blue fire in the palm of her hands. After she agreed to use his home as her own, seeing as she had none, it was revealed to Arin that she was an elf, who was transported to this world from a place where all mythical creatures were real. He also discovered that she carried a glass man in her coat pocket, named Paulo.

After growing close to the elf, known as "Luna," and forming a close, loving relationship with the elf after only a few days, they spent their time trying to figure out a way to get her and Paulo back to their home world. He also wished to go, wanting to escape the corrupt human world and live with them peacefully. During their trip to Aria's bookstore, it was revealed to them that the white haired woman was a witch, over two millennia old. She then explained to Arin how she knew so much about Luna's kind and where she came from, also revealing Arin's true past. It had turned out that he was the lost heir to the throne of the fallen twilight kingdom in the lost nation.

After the initial shock, and some days of preparation, they set out for Florida, to travel to the bermuda triangle gateway, and to their true home. With Aria's help, they had made it to the lost nation, and made their way to the port of Wheat town, where they are currently residing. Both Arin and Luna are in a close, intimate relationship with one another, and have been that way for almost a month now, already going all the way while they were still at Arin's old house. To compensate for the difference in age span between the two, Luna has suggested that they look for a dragon that would be willing to grant Arin the honor of being its rider. They are currently planning that expedition now, but there was one thing that Arin wanted to do first. He explained to Luna that he wanted to go to the ruins of his home kingdom, and planned to before he searched for a dragon to become a rider.

Special Abilities: Twilight Shield-Brings up a barrier of light and dark energy in front of Arín; Twilight Blast-Fires spheres of energy at his opponents, each one made of either dark or light energy.

Dark Form

When Arin is overcome by extreme anger and rage, or overly abusing his dark power over his
light, the darkness in his soul will take over, and his body will be engulfed by shadows. While
in this state, Arin loses all sight of everything but what had triggered his change, wanting
nothing but to destroy it, and everything that gets in his way. In this state, his shield is gone,
but his blast attack is fueled by only dark power. He also gains a new, instinctive ability: Dark
Prison: where a large black dome forms around anyone within a 25 yard radius (the dome width
is 1/4 the length of a football field). This ability is slow to use, but the confusion of the victim often
times than not gives him enough time to trap them, giving them no escape from his wrath. Only
those able to use dark magic are able to escape or enter the dome.

Light Form
If his mind is set on saving someone dear to him from a dangerous, or even fatal situation,
the pure essence of light within his being will surround him, and his mind is in a state of serenity.
In this form, his blast attack is gone, but his shield is made entirely of light. Another power is granted to him in this form Light Sanctuary: Similar to the Dark prison ability given to Arin's dark form, but only reaches a 10 foot radius around himself. This power, unlike its dark counterpart, is fast to use
and is meant to keep pursuers and dangerous creatures/hazards from getting in. Excluding
those able to wield the power of light, Arin can choose who or what is allowed into the barrier.
The dome also has a slow healing effect to those inside, but the process takes time to fully
heal someone, only able to mend small cuts and bruises in mere seconds, and rejuvenate
the body, ridding it of exhaustion in a minute or more, depending on the level of fatigue.
