The lake of spirits This is a sacred place within the center of the forest just outside of the Twilight kingdom ruins, if you have a high spiritual awareness, you can almost see the spirits floating across the lake's surface. Many necromancers come here to practice and perfect their powers. Hidden here, in the caves adorning the lake's waterfall, is a magically sealed doorway leading to the catacombs of the city. While there are many different tunnels beneath the city in its own right, this one seems to be in pristine condition, and for good reason. Within this specially crafted tunnel lies a secret of the royal family, guarded by traps that will test the body, mind and spirit. |
