Personality: She's a little withdrawn, but happily welcomes anyone new she might meet with a shy smile. While growing up with a disability has been hard on her, she has accepted this fact, and is incredibly kind because of it. She is always willing to giving others who done bad things in their past the benefit of the doubt in the hopes to bring their good side.

History: Rebecca was born with paralysis from the waist down, which lead to her parents distancing themselves from her. However, she has always had the love of her younger twin brother, Casey, who would help to take care of her. While he is overprotective of her, she knows it is just from the kindness of his heart. While her brother was home schooled, Rebecca had been enrolled at a public school, but this would only help her as it challenged her ability to learn.
Though she never had the attention Casey had from their parents, Rebecca did her best to try and keep up with his studies, sometimes asking him to tutor her. She began to delve deeper into the studies of health and medicine at the age of fifteen, and soon became determined to be one of the greatest minds in medical research. Despite her obvious roadblocks, she was never deterred away from the goals she set in her life, and wanted to be less of a burden on her brother. Through sheer determination, she managed to speed through high school, and enter a good college.
When she turned eighteen, her desire to become a great doctor grew when she fell in love with man named John Highlender, a man spent as much time as he could with her. It had been a rocky start of course, their very first meeting had been an argument in the middle of the college campus they attended. However, as they continued to meet up, a romantic love blossomed between them, and soon began dating seriously.
However, things would take a turn for the worse when John earned his boating license, and managed to acquire a small sail boat. The first time he had sailed it was when she went with him, planning to have an out at sea picnic, their mutual excitement having him haphazardly sail into the Bermuda Triangle. They hadn't even laid out the blanket when a sudden storm came out of nowhere, and capsized the boat, tossing them both into the sea.
When Rebecca next opened her eyes, she saw John being held down by a large thug as he struggled, and found herself surrounded by many harsh looking people with her wheelchair completely wrecked nearby. Some weren't even human when she took a second look at them.
Her astonishment would end when she heard John cry out in pain, the man on top of him having stabbed him. She desperately crawled to him, dragging her legs through the dirt and broken sticks to reach her love. She tried everything to keep him from bleeding out, but nothing she knew was working. It was through a miracle of wishing that light magic poured out of her hands, and into the wound, healing her boyfriend's injury to only leave a scar behind. Her sudden use of magic backfired on her, finding herself unable to open her eyes.
The sight left the surrounding thugs speechless until their leader stepped forward, and made to take Rebecca away with them. The leader soon found John standing between and the girl, holding the dagger that he had been stabbed with, and being threatened by him if he tried to take her. He admitted fully that he wanted to run for his life, but he couldn't leave her there to be used by a bunch of heartless thugs. After this declaration, the men surrounding them began laughing at the display, the leader knocking John out, and then ordering for them both to be taken with them. With a sharp whistle, a large flying vessel appeared in the sky, and both Rebecca and an unconscious John were brought aboard.
The next four years of her life were hard, but Rebecca wasn't surprised by this at all. Despite being blind, she began to reapply herself into the studies of her newfound magical abilities, though she has had help from John since she couldn't read anymore. John was made to be a deckhand for the sky pirates that claimed their lives, only being allowed to live as long as they proved useful, and proved useful they did. Rebecca could only that this would last for as long as possible.

Weapons: She has no weapons to use.
Armor: She wears a simple white dress.
Enchanted weapons/accessories: A seemingly insignificant metal pendant hanging from her necklace hidden from view under her shirt.
Weaknesses: Rebecca is permanently paralyzed from the waist down, and is unable to walk. Due her recklessly using magic to heal boyfriend, she has been left unable to open her eyes at all, and is now currently blind until she finds a solution.
Magical potential
Special/Racial Abilities: After four years of being technically blind, her other sense have become much sharper than usual, able to tell when someone is approaching her, and can hear clearly from up to ten feet away.

Spells Known (13/35sP):
Healing Light(5sP): Rebecca can heal those with severe injuries with the power of light, mending wounds of those who are hurt. She's trained with this spell for over four years, and can manage keep the spell up for up to an hour if she pushes herself.
Light Barrier(3sP): Rebecca casts out a shield to protect herself from harm. The barrier can extend up to four feet around her, easily shielding one other person with her. She keeps this spell handy in case one the pirates wants to try something stupid.
Purify(5sP): A spell that purifies the body of toxicities, nausea, and abnormalities, and one that Rebecca has had constant use of. Not for the Pirates, but for herself as she hasn't gotten quite used to flight of the airship. Despite the flight being fairly smooth most of the time, she still gets airsick often.
