Magic/Special abilities: He got basic necromancy powers (raising dead, decay) but also other magical power.
Raise Dead: He raises dead of any race and binds them to his will.
Wall of Agony: Long-time summoning spell where he brings up a massive wall of raised dead and earth. Uses up a lot of his magical power.
Cold Touch: A spell that lowers his opponents body temperature, slowing them down.
Whispers of the dead: A spell that fills the opponents head with voices, preventing them from thinking logically and confusing them.
Strengths: Magical power, quick thinking and a good tactician.
Weaknesses: Slightly insane, weak against psychical attacks.
History: Not much is known about Lian. He was rather normal when he was a boy. But when he came into puberty, he started to change. He grew distant from his friends and could be seen sitting near the towns graveyard, just staring into the air or walking around by the gravestones. One day, he disappeared and along with him most of his belongings. As he wandered down a road in Crystal Kingdom, he met this man who looked like he was in his mid 20s. The man stopped him and saw that he was indeed a necromancer. The man revealed himself to be a necromancer and took Lian in, teaching him everything about necromancy.

Okay, so he's a necromancer that is the standard human appearance, how does his wall of agony power work exactly, is it height or width?

Height and width. It's something that would be most effective against an army that is rushing toward you. And since it contains raised dead, the damage upon said army would be devastating.

If you want measures, I'd say it would be around 16 feet high and 32 feet long. This spell takes up so much of his magical power that he doesn't use it very often. Either when he got support or if he is planning to run for it.

It seems much, but so would an army of whatever. It would have to be rare, and not happen in a battle. He at lost nations we frown upon God-modding. We always try to keep it fair. Also the caster would most likely be really tiered, or even weak after such a feet. IT would mostly be something that would add to story, npcs, and not players, right?

What's the control limit on Raise Dead? It takes energy to maintain the bond between master and servent, and the stronger the undead the more power is needed to keep it subservient.

Luna : Yes, it's something he can't do more then once and after that he will be so weakened that he either has to disappear or be protected. It would certainly not be used at every little turn, but more like you said for plot, story etc.

The Harrowed: As you say, the amount of magical power used depends on what kind of Raised undead he summons.

For example : If he summons rats, he can summon them in masses. Bigger animals requires more. Same with humans.

I want to say, I never try to make OP-characters. This is pretty much my first "caster" class character. I try to limit it as much as possible.

And what about more powerful undead, like ghouls, wraiths, and banshees? Those are going to eat up more power than animating a human corpse or skeleton. Look, gimme a measurement in human skeletons on how many undead he can control (skeletons and zombies need the same amount of power to control, I'm assuming). I'll see if I can come up with a table for stronger undead.

And no, he doesn't summon undead except in the wall (and even then I'm going to insist that they lose all animation in a minute or five). That's not going to work. He can animate them from a corpse he has access to at the moment (as in, can see it clearly without any intervening barriers), but he's going to have to keep track of where his unded are so he doesn't lose them. He's a necromancer after all, not a summoner.

Yes, I say summon but I mean raise of course. But the wall is, like u said, the exception + 5 minute limit is tbh more than I was thinking about.

As for skeletons/Zombies, at this time, he can manage 2-3 with ease. They ain't very durable and the very basic of what he have been taught.
As for ghouls, wraiths, banshees, behemoth(think of a Tank from L4D but more bloody and everything) all takes longer to raise and he can use 1-2 max with effort (Behemoth x1)

Uh, wrong! If he can control only two or three skeletons with ease, the most he's going to be able to control of other undead is one ordinary ghoul, and that's eating up all his ability to control undead.

I can understand wanting to limit your character, but only 2-3 skeletons, which each require only a bare-bones (ha ha) amount of power and are both fragile and weak if a bit faster than their living selves, is taking the limitations too far. I think you could get away with 14-15 at a time, maybe more. Gimme a number you think is fair.

Harrowed, be nice to our new friend. Or at lest be a little more polite. If Arin says 20,I guess it would be okay, but it might take a while. Lower level spells might take longer then more advanced ones. I'm sorry about the delay.

Everything seems okay other then this contraversal wall. If no one objects I could approve it if you promise me you wont use the wall until you get it strightened out in a way that you, most of the mods, Me,and Arin can agree on.

The Harrowed : Sorry for limiting too much But I figured he is (only) in the 100 year of Necromancy, so he ain't a fully fledged Necromancer at this point. But, if 20 skeletons is OK with you, it is OK with me. I was also going to add a book of necromancy (since he is still studying) that he got from his Master. Also, for the upper level of Raised Creatures (Ghoul, Banshee, Wraith) 1 is perfectly fine for me. I'm not too good with the measurement of magical power to summoned/raised creatures, since I usually only go for basic skilled characters (improved strength and speed and the like.)

Luna: I agree with you totally, and the wall is, as you said only something to add to story or plot. It's an emergency button which I only use as a last resort. It will completely drain his magical power, push him to the brink of exhaustion but it gives him the time to flee from a battle.
