Succubi are quite possibly the most infamous (or famous, depending on your tastes) creature on Terra Mystica. With most possessing the appearance of a beautiful young woman and being effectively immortal(A succubus does not age so long as they feed on mana on a semi-regular basis.) Succubi have been seducing the men of Terra Mystica as well as Earth for millennia.

Contrary to how succubi are commonly depicted, Succubi are not malicious beings who feed on the life force of men and women through intercourse. Instead, they feed on mana via a simple touch, usually only draining a small amount of a person's mana to sustain themselves for about a week before leaving. 

Succubi also possess a natural ability to physically alter their shape. While most use it for the purposes of seduction, altering themselves to fit whatever peculiar desires that their partners possess, they are also capable of using it for travel, by manifesting wings, flippers or the like, or for defense, by altering their limbs into weapons or by giving themselves a thick skin or shell for added defense.

Despite the incorrect assumptions on a succubus' feeding requirements, Succubi themselves have not helped with this perception, due to the fact that they often do commit explicit acts while draining an individual's mana. The reason for this is due to the secret that allows a succubus to seduce almost anyone; Succubi are natural empaths, and as a result, are keenly aware of how uncomfortable mana feeding can be to the host.

As a result of their Empathy and their naturally lustful nature, Succubi are naturally more "open" about intimacy, with sex and love often being intricately linked in Succubi culture.
