Driders
There are two species of Drider that are currently known, mainly due to their different dispositions (if there were no difference, there would be only one type). This page covers information about the Arachne type Drider:
Arachnae
A monster with the torso of a woman and the lower body of a spider. They are highly intelligent, however, their willingness to give in to instinct is far greater. Due to their hostility and immense physical capabilities, they are considered highly dangerous.
They are capable of producing a strong sticky thread from their bodies, which they use to ensnare prey. Animals and humans who touch them unawares will be trapped by the strong, sticky fibers and be unable to escape. Catching food is the primary purpose of course, but the webs are used to catch things for personal use as well. They will usually stay in their nests, waiting for anything to get trapped in, but if deprived of something that she yearns for, she will go away from her nest temporarily to go hunting.
They take pride in their sewing, giving clothes to men they've taken a liking to. However, the significance here is this is how they propose to their love interests. If he accepts her gift, she will keep him in her nest for good, regardless of whether he likes it or not. Furthermore, as for what Arachnaes fancy, in addition to thread, they also have a soft spot for the fiery tempered. In case of being caught by an Arachnae, not resisting is the best course of action.
