Fairies
Miniscule creatures that grow to be about two to three inches high, they are usually depicting that of a person of beautiful stature. Fairies are capable of magic, and like witches, and warlocks, can travel between the lost nation, and the human world.
Fairies are very playful, but they hardly ever interact with humans. They keep to themselves often, living in forests to stay safe from outside threats. Diet wise, they usually eat berries and nuts. They hardly ever have a taste for meat and try to avoid eating it whenever possible.
Once during the summer, under the pale moonlight, The fairies will all gather in one area for their mating season. During this time of the year, they use their magic to keep the moon in a constant full state, because this season lasts at least a week. When they finish, they undo the spell, and the moon immediately reverts to the phase that it was meant to be in during that time of the month. During this constant full moon period, werewolves are affected by the change in the moon cycle and are forced into there wolfish form every night until the mating of the fairies is finished. Villagers aren't as concerned about the possibility of a two week long blue moon, since it only happens during the fall and spring.
