Naga
There are different types of Naga subtypes, here are the most common types found on the mainland:
Lamia
Monsters with the upper body of a human and the lower body of a snake. Highly intelligent and individualistic, some form villages of their own kind, while others live alongside humans.
Those who live in the naga-only villages (so called wild naga) lurk around roads that humans travel if not interested in naga of the opposite sex. Keeping under cover so that only their human body is visible, a naga will use their magically charming voice to entice humans that come walking along. They then trap the enraptured humans within their serpentine coils, and uses them to satisfy their body's needs, either to sate hunger or a different type of need. Afterward, if they are pleased with their catch, and they didn't eat their captor, they will bring that individual home, marrying them - whether they like it or not.
All naga go through a fixed cycle of shedding. Like a molting Snake, a naga casts off the skin of their lower body. Caution is necessary: immediately after shedding, a naga will be in a state of aggravation. A human who carelessly approaches them will be attacked without provocation.
Naga are extremely jealous and vindictive. If a naga's spouse is unfaithful to them, it is said that they will not rest until they have strangled them to death, even if they must pursue them to the ends of the earth.
