With any community based game, be it an MMO video game, or a roleplaying community, there are just some rules that must be followed to maintain a peaceful environment. We have established a list of basic rules to follow while in the in character (Roleplaying) section, so please, take the time to review these before engaging in any roleplaying activity on our forum.
This rules list may change as the community or events develop over time, so check back regularly, or check our updates section in the Discord chat for any updates.
-Adoption is an option! If you have a character that you plan to never use again, please put the forum's Reanimation/Abandonment section to use, to preserve use of the character for new members (unless you decide to kill them off).
Thank you for taking the time to read through our roleplaying rules. We are a generally friendly group, but we aren't without our own levels of intolerance. So please, follow the rules, be courteous to everyone, and don't be afraid to speak up about anything that may be on your mind. We hope you enjoy the world we've built.

Rules for Roleplayers
- Roleplay threads can be started by anyone. Once a character is approved, or adopted, you have the option of making a thread for him/her and wait for people to interact with, or send him/her into an older one to interact with others right away (as long as the thread is left in an "OPEN" status). If you don't want to just open a thread for anyone, you can plan among other members to have a private thread that only you and the associated members will participate in. Private threads will typically have the participating member's screen name included in the title (this is optional).
- Stay in character and keep OOC messages to a minimum. It's unprofessional to constantly communicate out of character in a roleplay thread unless it's absolutely necessary, or pertinent to the thread. Any and all OOC messages while in character MUST be put in double parenthesis ((like this)). We also strongly advise using the shoutbox chat or our forum chat server on Discord for any communication that is out of character.
- Multiple RPCs are allowed for playing with, and members are encouraged to do so. There are many different kinds of creatures in the lost nation and we'd rather not have them be just NPCs to encounter by choice (not to mention this is a BIG place. The more RPCs, the easier the gameplay will be). Until more members are added to our roster, there currently isn't any set character limit. But only play what you are capable of playing.
-Adoption is an option! If you have a character that you plan to never use again, please put the forum's Reanimation/Abandonment section to use, to preserve use of the character for new members (unless you decide to kill them off).
- Don't bring grudges with other members to the RP world. This is a fantasy world, and real world issues should have no part in it. Just because you have an issue with someone, does not mean you should be hostile towards them for no reason while in character, or avoid RPing with them altogether. So if a fight or argument does happen while a thread is active, do not let it affect interaction with other RPCs!
- NO GODMODDING!!! Your players aren't invincible, nor can they sense everything around them all at once, so don't make them dodge every attack and cause auto hits that weren't permitted. If you think anyone may be abusing the use of scripted auto-hits, or a fight has become nothing but an endless dodge-fest, report this to staff immediately, before it gets out of hand. This also applies to staff members as well, and non-staff members are encouraged to report any staff members that may be ignoring this rule.
- Please be frequent: While this is more of a request, we don't want one time posters flooding the member list. As rude as this may sound (and I apologize for this in advance), if you don't think you will have enough time for this forum, please don't make an account. We want to keep this thing going strong for a long time, and we can't do that with members that rarely make an appearance.
- Skip if you don't know what to post: This rule is somewhat of a gray area. We typically have a cycle or order that each person posts when a thread starts. When its your turn, it's expected that we get a post. If you can't think of anything, and your role isn't highly significant enough that you HAVE to post, you can elect to skip your turn so the thread can keep moving forward. HOWEVER; if you can't think of anything, but your post is needed to progress the plot, it is encouraged that you ask for advice, and ideas, to help with writing your post. Things cannot progress, and may possibly die, if people don't work together to progress the world's timeline. Because we encourage a teamwork-oriented environment, we are always eager to assist with any idea forming if needed of our member-base.
